Clients request: 3 layers of old paint on the front porch were peeling off. They didn’t know what the best option would be to fix the porch and still be able to keep the character of the home.
Floor Finish: Epoxy Flake Flooring.
Colour: Vinyl Flakes Australia – Colour “Flint”.
Project Scope
Our client in Beulah Park wanted to revive the old front porch but did not know the best fix for it. It had 3 layers of old paint that were starting to peel off, which did not match the rest of the otherwise beautiful and recently renovated home.
Tired of constantly trying to repaint and cover up the imperfections, they contacted us for a better solution and wanted to ask about epoxy flake flooring. Understandably, their concern was that it had to not take away from the character of their home. We happily went and inspected the porch and rolled out the plan.
We started by stripping back the old layers of paint. As this porch was old and was showing signs of moisture, we added an epoxy moisture barrier system first to help protect it from any moisture damage, before installing the new flooring in colour “Flint”.
This was the final finishing touch to bring the entire home together giving it maximum street appeal.
Once the project was finished, we were excited to show them their new porch and hand the area back over to them. It transformed the front of their home completely and really compliments a very well manicured garden.
We were thrilled to see our customers happy with the result.
