Project Scope
We’ve done a lot of garage projects before but it’s still great to see the transformation. It makes the space feel more comfortable to move around in, store things in and that’s what it’s all about.
Such is the case for our North Adelaide client who wanted to get their garage floor fixed up due to the wear of the car tyres coming in and out of the garage space.
Unlike the rest of their home, the garage looked dated and the old coating on the floor that was starting to peel off didn’t help either.
When we were called in for the job, we had to first diamond grind the old layers down to expose the bare concrete and then repair minor cracks. It showed years of damage and it was important to complete the repair work prior to applying the new surface to ensure a decade or more of uncompromised flooring.
Whilst there are different colours and finishes you can choose with epoxy flakes, a popular choice for garages is ‘mica’, which is what you see here.
